Pipe Bursting

The Emerald City’s Choice for Pipe Bursting

At Brewer's Sewer Repair, we are proud to offer industry-leading sewer pipe solutions in Seattle, WA, and nearby areas. Our experts use state-of-the-art technology to address all sewer issues. Our professionals use pipe bursting services to solve significant pipe-related problems, among other techniques.

For the past 14 years, our experts have applied pipe bursting in repiping sewer lines in residential homes in the local area. Our experts first perform a sewer camera inspection to analyze the condition of the affected sewer line before recommending pipe bursting. We then dig two sections of the old sewer line to unearth two small sections (the entry and exit sections) to serve as the operational bases for installing the new sewer line.

Our professionals use a pneumatic or hydraulic expansion header, cable, and a winch. The new pipe is attached to the expansion header, which is pulled from the other excavated sewer end. As the expansion header is pulled through the old pipe, it forces the worn-out lines to burst open, creating a space for the attached new pipe. The installed similar-sized or wider pipe is stronger, long-lasting, and bacteria-free.

Why Pipe Bursting is Better

You are sure to be satisfied with pipe bursting because the whole process causes little disturbance to the landscape. Our experts at Brewer's Sewer Repair prefer pipe bursting because of the following reasons:

  • There is no excavation of yards, driveways, and sidewalks; hence no need for landscaping or traffic interruption.
  • There is minimal property damage, especially to underground utilities.
  • Compared with traditional techniques, it's cost-effective.
  • Minimal risk of injuries to our laborers during the exercise.
  • Approximately 100-year lifespan for the new sewer line.
  • There is a possibility of increasing the flow capacity by installing a wider new sewer line.
  • Ideal for replacing pipes with almost all types of damage.
